- Matteo Riboni became IPR’s Head of Broking and International Business Development, moving to the London notwithstanding the United Kingdom left the European Union. Matteo matured over 15 years of experience as a broker and business developer within Assigeco, the Italian Specialist Broker and Lloyd’s Coverholder, his appointment is the testament of the historical partnership between Assigeco and FIS group, and of the ties of both with the Lloyd’s Market.

“The City of London had over 3 years to prepare for Brexit and only 3 weeks to prepare for the lockdown. Furness’ business model demonstrated a remarkable level of resilience and ability to adjust to everchanging constrictions and logistical hurdles. The group renewed its commitment to both the City of London and to the London Market whilst trebling its presence in Continental Europe with the Madrid, Brussels and Milan offices now fully operational. Furness is financially strong, open for business, and fighting fit.” commented Furness Insurance Services CEO Bernardo Gozzi.
